Ciara has owned and operated businesses since the age of 14. As a serial entrepreneur, her business mindset and tenacity led her to open her first store, Mama Mia, a high-end maternity store located in Fargo, N.D. in 2006. Shortly after, she developed and opened MODE, a designer outlet store adjacent to Mama Mia. In 2008, Ciara consolidated the two concepts into MODE, and she expanded the concept into an established franchise business. Most recently Ciara created, built and ultimately sold the btqBOX, a wholesale subscription box for boutique owners. Through her coaching program, Powerfully Simple, Ciara works hand-in-hand with small business entrepreneurs, teaching them how to pursue and achieve their dreams by simplifying their processes in 21 days! Hey Ladies! Welcome to the LAST, but certainly not least, Bridal Series! In this episode, I chat with my former Bride, Elise Collier. Elise thought about having her wedding in The Keys but realized she wanted more of a beach setting. Elise found me from a Google Search, Wedding Planner in Miami! Elise had her floral arrangements done with JM Event Productions and had her wedding on June 6, 2021. Her guests were saying, and quote, "This wedding looked like it came from Pinterest or a magazine." The ceremony was so beautiful, people who were staying at the hotel wanted to take some home! Elise and I discuss the importance of decor and planning, costs of floral arrangements, and advice to brides.

Oh boy! A lot has been going on in the Canal household! The twins are 14 months old! Can you believe it?! Teeth are coming in, we STILL have our morning snuggles and routine, and both are LOVING the swimming pool. Ariella is the queen of the household (or so she thinks); meanwhile, Alejandro is Mr. Independent wanting to do things on his own. We had the twins go through some sleep training, and it has been a MAJOR difference. We are in the one nap-a-day phase, so we have been adjusting to a new schedule. One of the twins is like the cookie monster and eats SOO fast, while the other enjoys french fries and avocado. Can you guess who likes what? To all the moms listening, tell me when your babies were 14 months old. if you have twins, how are they alike and different? I'd love to know!

Hey Ladies! Welcome to the Bridal Series! In this episode I sit down with my former EBJ Brides, Kayla Quintana. There were so many hurdles with giving Kayla and her now husband the wedding of their dreams. First, it started off with an unexpected change in their venue with so many restrictions. My team and I found a list of new venues for her to have her wedding. Kayla was supposed to have a larger wedding with over 200 guests, but due to COVID she had a smaller guest size. BUT that meant we can add more decor, dessert, and add a photo booth instead. Second, the flowers were not delivered correctly however, we had a last minute flower delivery fiasco. I then became a florist to put the final pieces together! BUT that's not all. The transportation services got lost with grandma on the bus. We can't start a wedding WITHOUT grandma! It rained SO hard while they were setting up the chairs, tables and linens even though we didn't expect rain (even in December in South Florida). At this point I became a drill sergeant! Rumbas Event Rentals came to the rescue and brought brand new (and dry) linens in time just before their ceremony. Tune into the episode on having a plan B, remaining calm, having the right vendors to make things happen even when there are many detours along the way.
